A 1-2-1 Hatha Yoga class:

The 60min class will contain:

- Meditation: Concentration of mind into pure conscious awareness

- Asana Practice: Yoga postures

- Relaxation: Inviting you to let go of the stresses of everyday life, a beautiful ending.

Aims:

- The class will help build strength and flexibility while working on engaging with the breath to release toxins and re-energise our bodies.

What is Hatha Yoga?

Hatha Yoga is the foundation of all yoga asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathing techniques). Even though it can be considered a gentle class, the practice of hatha yoga can still be physically and mentally challenging and is ‘the mother’ of all practices. Therefore, during the class the practice can be personalised by implying variations to the asanas that will help improve balance, flexibility and strength over time.

The class will consist of Meditation (Dhyana), Sun Salutation, standing poses, seated poses, twists, back bends, inversions (all levels) and relaxation.
